Ferrofluid in a woofer

Here you can see a 275 mm woofer with a cut diaphagme and dome and a pole piece with segment cut. The excursion is 20 mm. The voice coil diameter is 100 mm, the voice coil is made on Kapton®. The Ferrofluid is dragged with the voice coil, but is reteined in the gap.
